Doug & Morri joined 60 other celebrants at the L’Orpailleur vineyard on September 17 to kick off the two-week grape harvest in Dunham, Quebec, the heart of the province's grape-growing region. The vineyard's restaurant, Le Tire-bouchon, held a dinner-dance with Latin music by the Cuban band, Youssi Barbara, from Montreal).

L’Orpailleur is one of 11 vineyards on the official Brome-Misssiquoi Wine Tour, which includes wineries in Brigham, Cowansville, Dunham and Farnham. Bright blue-and-white Route des Vins highway signs mark the 132-km scenic route, which winds by apple orchards, cideries, artists studios and tourist attractions. Most vineyards are open daily to visitors until Thanksgiving and on weekends until the end of December.
